Canepa has put the 2006 Hummer H1 for sale. The SUV itself is somewhat exclusive, as it is part of the special Alpha family. This design in its time marked the end of the life cycle of the model, only 417 such cars were built.
However, the gloomy Hummer attracts attention not only because of its pedigree, but also because of its large-scale upgrade, which Canepa estimated at $100,000. It is not reported how much they want for the SUV itself.
We shall note differences of Alpha from usual Hummer H1 to begin with. The main thing is to boost the 6.6-liter diesel Duramax by 48 percent: up to 300 hp and 720 Nm. There is an automatic gearbox with five gears working together with the aggregate. Also among the features of the SUV are reinforced brakes and running gear, modified transmission and steering.
Exactly this “Hummer” has been finalized in the Predator studio, where the car was increased to 360 hp and 867 Nm. Also the SUV received a power bumper with a winch, safety cage, additional lighting equipment, expeditionary trunk and 18-inch wheels, shod in tires for severe off-road.
The interior received leather and suede trim. More of the interesting stuff: an advanced audio system for $12,000 (880,000 rubles), sports steering wheel and storage compartments. The mileage of the Hummer is 54,000 km.
